SURCO es una escultura blanda construida a partir de una estructura textil de capas cosidas. A través de esta materialidad, la obra impone una acumulación de huellas fragmentadas como inscripciones mínimas e irreversibles, seccionadas por el tiempo a la vez blando y violento.

En su proceso de creación, técnicas manuales de carácter arcaico y collages digitales de autoría propia, plenamente contemporáneos, coexisten como sistemas de inscripción temporal, ninguno queda intacto, sosteniendo una tensión que no busca resolverse ni reconciliarse.

SURCO no mira hacia atrás.
Desmenuzado, seccionado, hecho otro, no vuelve.

SURCO is a soft sculpture built from a textile structure of layered, stitched surfaces.
Across this material field, fragmented traces accumulate: minimal and irreversible inscriptions, marked by a time that is at once soft and violent.

In its process of creation, archaic manual techniques coexist with digital collages authored by the artist, fully contemporary in nature.
Both function as systems of temporal inscription; neither remains intact.

The work sustains a tension that does not seek resolution or reconciliation.
